This position will serve as a member of the Family Development Team of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County.
This Program Assistant will provide program coordination and support to the Family Development program.
The individual will provide administrative support services such as, compiling existing materials into educational packets; maintaining inventory of educational resources; and providing administrative tasks for the program.
This position will provide data entry of participant data requiring confidentiality.
The Family Development Program Assistant will provide information to participants regarding other Extension programs, community agencies, and services as needed.
Will appreciate and embrace diversity in all interactions with clientele, staff, volunteers, and the public.
Required Qualifications Associate Degree in Human Services or related field, High School Diploma/GED and one year transferrable program/functional experience can substitute for Associate's Degree.
Experience relevant to the role of the position.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office programs such as Power Point, Publisher, Word, and Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to relate to diverse audiences.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in a busy office and prioritize work.
Ability to meet travel requirements associated with this position.
Ability to work flexible hours which may include evenings and/or weekends, as appropriate.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
